About the School |
The Air Force Bal Bharati School is one of the three schools in Delhi that are run by the Air Force. The school was founded in 1955 with the primary aim of providing education to the children of Air Force Personnel. Applications for admission are categorized into Air Force and Non Air Force(NAF) with a fixed number of seats available for children belonging to the NAF category. The school is ISO 9001:2000 certified. |

Facilities |
School facilities include a well-equipped multi-function hall,
a mini-auditorium, separate libraries and computer labs for junior and senior schools
and a canteen. Most senior school classes are equipped with computers, projectors, LCD
screens and educational software. Similar facilities are available for the junior school
in a separate lab. There is a separate Audio-Visual Center with screening facilities.
The school sick bay has a resident doctor and nurse. The school has a hostel for girls
with 40 seats. Bus facilities are available. On the sports front the school has a multi-purpose sports hall; basketball and tennis courts; football fields and cricket nets/ pitches. |
Age Criteria in 2020-2021 |
The admissions made in 2020-2021 were to the Upper KG(UKG) i.e. Pre-Primary Class. The minimum age was four years as on 31st March 2020. |

Cutoffs in 2020-2021 |
The school published a first list with 44 names. The distribution of scores in this list was as follows- 1 candidate scored 60 points, 1 candidate scored 55 points, 31 candidates scored 45 points and 11 candidates scored 40 points. The remaining seats were filled by a draw of lots amongst candidates with 35 points. |
Class XII Results |
The top scoring students in each category in 2019- 2020 were as follows- Commerce- 96.4%; Humanities- 96.6%; Science- 98%. |
