About the School
The Apeejay School Pitampura was set up in May 1990 and has established itself as a well known school. The philosphy of the school is based upon the ideals of Vedanta, Plato and Kant-that every human being is unique and has the potential to rise to limitless heights. The school is run by the Apeejay Educational Society, which runs over 29 schools, colleges and professional institutions in the country.

Facilities
Apeejay School Pitampura has good infrastucture including an open air auditorium, an LCD room, a science park and a robotics lab in addition to the usual science labs. The school library has a collection of roughly 28000 books. Comprehensive sports facilities are available.

Age Criteria and Seats in 2023-2024
The school admitted students to the Pre-School class in 2023-2024. Children aged 3 years or more as on 31/03/2023 were eligible for admission. The total number of seats available in the Pre-School class was 200, out of which 50 seats were reserved for the EWS/ DG category.

Admission Criteria
The school uses a point-based system for admissions. The criteria and their weightages are as below

Physically disabled child 10 points.

Physically disabled candidates are awarded 10 points.
Sibling 20 points.

Applicants are given 20 points if a real brother or sister is already studying in the school.
Alumni 20 points.

The candidate is given 15 points if either parent is an alumnus of the school and 20 points if both parents are alumni of the school.
School transport availability 15 points.

Candidates are awarded 5 points if they stay in areas where school transport is available. They are given a futher 10 points if they avail of the school transport facility.
Staff Ward 20 points.

Wards of staff are awarded 20 points.
Girl Child/ First Born 15 points.

Female/ first born candidates are awarded 15 points.
Total 100 points.


Documents Required
The school requires that successful applicants produce the following documents.
  • Municipal Birth Certificate of Child
  • Proof of Residence- Aadhhaar Card/ Voter card of parents.
  • Alumni proof- Passing certificate of AISSCE exam, school leaving certificate.
  • Sibling proof - Identity card of sibling, latest fee bill of sibling
  • First child- affidavit
  • Physically challenged- certificate from competent authority.

Cutoffs in 2023-2024
The Cutoff for admission in 2023-2024 was at 30 points.

Class XII Results
The top scoring students in each category in 2022-2023 were as follows- Science-96.6%; Commerce-96.4% and Humanities-97.6%.
