About the School
Bluebells School International was set up in 1957 by a Hungarian lady named Marie Guha. The school started out of a house in Jor Bagh, subsequently added a branch in Lajpat Nagar and eventually moved to the current premises in Kailash. The school prides itself on its international outlook, epitomizing Rabindranath Tagore's vision of humanity as one family. It is the same thinking that underlies the school's motto- "One planet- the Earth, One Family- Mankind".

Facilities
Bluebells School International is housed on a 3 acre campus in South Delhi. The four storied school building comprises of 90 class rooms, 4 multipurpose halls, an AV room and an auditorium. The auditorium has a capacity of 400 people. The AV room is fully equipped with projectors, screens and a large collection of CD's and DVD's.

Other facilities include a Teachers Resource Center for keeping the staff updated with latest trends; a Multimedia Centre; an Art Gallery; a Language Laboratory equipped for teaching French/ Japanese/ Russian/ Spanish/ German and a Recording Studio.

Age Criteria and Seats in 2023-2024
The admissions made in 2023- 2024 were to the Nursery i.e. Pre- School Class. Children aged three years or more as on 31/03/2023 were eligible for admission. The total number of seats available was 140, out of which 77 were for General category candidates, 35 were for EWS candidates and 28 were for the management quota.

Admission Criteria
The school uses a point-based system for admissions. The criteria and their weightages are as below

Neighborhood 50 points.

Students living along existing bus routes get 50 points.
Alumni 20 points.

The candidate is given 20 points if either parent is an alumnus of the school.
Staff Ward 10 points.

Ward of staff are given 10 points.
Sibling 20 points.

The candidate is given 20 points if a sibling is already studying in the school.
Total 100 points.


Documents Required
The school requires that successful applicants produce the following documents.
  • An attested copy of the Municipal Birth Certificate of child
  • Vaccination and Blood Group Certificate
  • An attested copy of proof of residence
  • For alumni cases- school leaving/ passing certificate with admission number/ board examination registration number
  • For sibling cases- last fee payment receipt of sibling
  • Aadhaar card of parents and child

Cutoffs in 2023-2024
The first list released by the school had the names of 77 candidates with scores between 50 and 90 points.The cutoff was at 50 points.

Class XII Results
The stream toppers in 2022- 2023 were Science- 96.2%; Commerce- 96% and Humanities- 98.8%.
