About the School
The K.R. Mangalam World School at Greater Kailash is part of the K.R. Mangalam group of institutions. The group consists of five K.R. Mangalam World Schools in Delhi and Gurgaon, the Summer Fields School and colleges of Engineering, Architecture and Management. The Group has recently established a full fledged university called K.R. Mangalam University. The school attempts to cater to the needs of what it calls third millennium children and parents. The school aims to provide a process of continuous learning from everything and everywhere.

The K.R. Mangalam World School in GK II stands on a lush 4.5 acre campus with a modern building. The school building is centrally air- conditioned. Every class room is fitted with a TV and a computer. Separate A/V rooms with multimedia facilities are also available. Library facilities are split between a central library and class room libraries. The school has dedicated language labs and music and dance rooms. The sports facilities are world class as is the Yoga and Meditation Center.

Age Criteria and Seats in 2020-2021
The admissions made in 2020-2021 were to the Nursery i.e. Pre- School Class. The minimum age was three years as on 31st March 2020. The total number of seats available was 160, out of which 40 were reserved for EWS candidates.

Admission Criteria
The school uses a points-based system for admissions. The criteria and their weightages are as below

Neighborhood 65 points.

Students residing within 10 km get 65 points, those residing between 10 km and 12 km get 40 points and all others get 30 points.
Sibling 25 points.

Applicants are given 25 points if a real brother or sister is already studying in the school.
Girl Child/ First Child 10 points.

Female and first born candidates get 10 points.
Total 100 points.

Documents Required
The school requires that successful applicants produce the following documents.
  • Birth Certificate of the child
  • Proof of residential address- one of electricity bill/ telephone bill/ electoral card/ ration card/ passport/ Aadhar Card/ Domicile Certificate
  • First Born Children- Notary attested affidavit

Cutoffs in 2020-2021
The 45 candidates who scored more than 75 points were directly shortlisted for admission. The remaining seats were filled by a draw of lots amongst candidates who had scored 75 points.

Class XII Results
30.6% of the students who appeared in 2019- 2020 scored more than 90% in the aggregate. The stream toppers were- Science- 97.4%; Commerce- 95.6% and Humanities- 96.6%.
